Rara is the first instant noodles of Nepal. This white instant noodles is named after the largest lake of Nepal. RARA is also pre-cooked, flavored, seasoned and fried before packaging. It is wildly popular among Nepalese and unlike Wai Wai, another popular Nepali noodle, only it’s seasoning has the Mono-Sodium Glutamate (MSG aka Ajinomoto). That being said, it’s safe to eat right out of the package. Rara is crunchy but not as spicy as Wai Wai. Some Nepalese like Rara more than Wai Wai and other instant noodles. Whether you fry or make a soup of Rara Instant Noodles, it’s very delicious. In this recipe, we have only used half of seasonings (masala) packet and added some green vegetables to make it healthy and super delicious. Let me know how you like this recipe.
